Solution Statement

The materials chosen in the lawyer’s office were found according to Michael Graves’ 20^th century style of design.  The finishes were based on pieces that Graves has done either frequently or can be found unique to the eye throughout the years.  The finishes include: carpet, glass, granite, and paint.  These materials are long lasting, maintainable, some sustainable, and all are suitable for high traffic commercial space.  The materials used correspond with Graves’ concept of clean, simple and a grid friendly design.
